Farm Safety Week: Take care of the farmer

As we wrap up Farm Safety Week, it’s important to remember that safety isn’t only about equipment and machinery—it’s also about taking care of the person behind the wheel.

Harvest means long days, late nights, unpredictable weather, and a lot of stress. Fatigue can affect reaction time and decision-making.

Take breaks. Drink water. Eat. Get rest when you can. Check in on your neighbors, friends, and family members who are putting in those long hours.

To all of our farmers: thank you for what you do. Work hard, stay safe, and come home to the people who need you.

Wishing everyone a safe and successful harvest!
