It’s harvest season, which means you’ll be seeing more tractors, combines, grain carts, and other farm equipment on our rural roads.
Please slow down and give our farmers some room.
Farm equipment is large, moves slowly, and may need to make wide turns. Never assume an operator can see you and only pass when it is safe and legal to do so.
To our farmers: make sure your lights, reflectors, and slow-moving vehicle emblems are visible before heading onto the road.
We all share the road. A little patience can prevent a tragedy.
